Questions from schools

What program leads, instructors and IT teams ask before running a term on CloudLearn.

Do students need their own cloud accounts?

No. Each student gets an isolated sandbox with credentials already set up. They open the lab in a browser and start.

How do we get our class lists in?

Upload a CSV roster into a section. You can also invite people individually. Sections hold the course code, semester, instructor, TAs and capacity.

Can we build our own labs?

Not today. CloudLearn builds the labs. Your instructors build training paths from existing content, and we build custom labs for you on request.

Does it work with our existing LMS or student system?

CloudLearn can run your programs, admissions, records, fees, attendance, grades and credentials, or sit alongside the systems you have. Today there is SCIM directory sync, a roster API that supports OneRoster-style reads, and Microsoft Entra SSO set up with our team.

Where is our data stored?

Data is separated per college. The application, files and databases run on Microsoft Azure. Some services, such as sign-in and payments, use other US-based providers. Talk to us about your requirements.

How do fees and payments work?

You set up fee structures with installment plans, issue invoices, record payments manually or import them from a CSV, handle refunds, and issue PDF receipts. Finance gets an overview and an accounting CSV export.

Can students sign documents electronically?

Yes. Documents can be signed electronically and each signature keeps an audit trail. Check with your own advisor about what your documents require.

Do you support single sign-on?

Microsoft Entra SSO is available and is set up with our team.

Can instructors see lab progress while students work?

You can see who has a lab running, which step they are on, how many checks they have passed and the time left. It does not show their screen and is view-only.

How is it priced?
